Terms of Use.

Effective date: 1 July 2026  ·  Last updated: 24 August 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By using UseCalcForge you agree to these terms. They form an agreement between you and UseCalcForge covering the website, its calculators, and the written documentation and articles published alongside them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

We may update these terms as the site changes. The effective and last-updated dates above tell you which version you are reading. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

2. What our calculators are for

Everything on this site is provided for information and estimation. Our calculators implement published formulas and are tested against worked examples whose answers are already known, but we are not certified or audited by any standards body and we make no guarantee that a result is accurate or fit for any particular purpose.

Nothing here is professional advice. Our financial tools are not financial advice, our health tools are not medical advice, our engineering tools are not a substitute for a qualified engineer, and our tax tools are not tax advice. For any decision with real consequences, consult someone qualified and licensed in the relevant field.

  • Verify before you commit. For engineering, medical, structural or manufacturing work, check any figure from this site against an authoritative source before acting on it.
  • Figures go out of date. Tax brackets, contribution limits and printing costs change. Where a tool uses a year-specific figure, that year is shown on the page. Providers such as Amazon KDP can change their costs at any time and without notice.
  • Limits of liability. To the extent permitted by law, UseCalcForge is not liable for losses arising from use of the site, including manufacturing errors, financial loss, or business decisions based on a calculation. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if you are a consumer this does not affect your statutory rights.

3. Acceptable use

The site is free to use and there is no account to create. We ask two things in return:

No automated harvesting

Please do not use scripts, scrapers or bots to bulk-execute calculations or copy our written content at scale. Normal use, and linking to any page here, is welcome and needs no permission.

No republishing

Our written explanations, documentation and articles are original work. Reproducing them on another site is not permitted. If you want to quote a passage with attribution and a link, that is fine.

4. Ownership

The UseCalcForge name, branding, interface design and written content belong to us. The underlying formulas do not — mathematics is not ours to own, which is exactly why we name the equations we use so you can verify them independently.

You keep everything you enter. We claim no right over the values, text, JSON, or book configurations you put into our tools, and we do not store them. How inputs are handled — including which tools process data on our server rather than in your browser — is set out in full in our privacy policy.

5. Advertising and affiliate links

The site is funded by advertising and, on some pages, affiliate links that may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Where that applies it is disclosed on the page. Commercial relationships do not affect any calculation result or recommendation — see our editorial standards for how we keep the two separate.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the site available and correct, but we provide it “as is”. We may change, move or retire any calculator, and we may take the site down for maintenance without notice. If a tool you rely on disappears or changes, please tell us — we would rather know.

In short

Use the calculators freely. Check anything important against an authoritative source before you act on it. We do not store what you enter. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
